I photograph the day you actually have, not a styled version of it. I know your timeline cold, I am at your elbow the second your grandmother starts dancing, and the speeches get shot from where the laughing is loudest.

I plan family sessions so the kids think we are just going outside for a bit, and I keep shooting through the chaos, because the chaos is the point. You go home with the light, the mess, and everyone’s real face.

You have enough mysteries to manage. These are the actual numbers, and every package includes a private online gallery, full print rights, and travel within two hours of Port Ellery.
Twenty minutes at a spot I have scouted, 25 finished photographs in one week. Runs in seasonal batches, announced by email first.
$350One unhurried hour at a place your family actually goes, 75+ photographs in two weeks. Dogs welcome, encouraged even.
$600Above the from-price usually means a far venue, a welcome dinner, or an album. I quote the whole number before you sign anything.
Use the button below. Tell me the date, the place if you know it, and how you two met if you feel like typing. I answer within two business days.
We talk timeline, family logistics, and what you want on your walls. No slideshow, no pitch. You will know by the end if I am your photographer.
A plain-language contract and a 30 percent retainer hold your date. That is the only thing that holds a date, for everyone, always.
Dates are first come. I photograph one wedding a weekend and about thirty a year, and autumn Saturdays go a full twelve months out. If your date is set, write to me this week, not next.
You will not stand in a line smiling until your cheeks give out. I hand you something to do instead: walk toward me and talk to each other, race your kid to the fence. Then I photograph what actually happens, including the thirty seconds after, which is usually the picture. People who warn me they are awkward in photos produce my favorite galleries, because nobody is awkward mid-laugh.
I shot my first wedding at nineteen because the hired photographer cancelled and I owned a camera. A hundred and forty weddings later the job has not changed: show up early, know the schedule cold, and stand where the feeling is about to be.
The organized part matters more than people expect. You will get a timeline from me before your florist asks for one, and your gallery will arrive on the date in your contract, because a photograph that lives on a memory card is not a photograph yet.
For the nerdsTwo bodies on a harness, a 35 and an 85, everything graded warm against the film scans I grew up loving. And one roll of actual film through my grandfather’s rangefinder at every wedding. The grain in my favorite frames is real.
Noor sent the sneak peek while we were still at the after-party. The full gallery made my father cry twice, once for the photos and once because there were eight hundred of them.Lena + Cole, married at Wrenhollow
Our four-year-old refused to cooperate for the entire session. The photos are the best we have ever had. I do not understand it and I have stopped asking. The Vann family, minis regulars since 2024
A sneak peek of 40 or more frames lands within 48 hours of a wedding. Full galleries take five to six weeks, family sessions one to two, and the dates go in your contract.
Your gallery has a built-in print shop on papers I have tested myself. Albums are designed together over one call: linen covers, thick matte pages, from $480. The kids-fighting-over-it plan works better with a physical object.
We get married anyway. I bring clear umbrellas for six, scout a covered backup at the walk-through, and keep shooting. Rain photos come out moody and cinematic; I have photographed three drenched Octobers in a row.
Anywhere. Two hours of driving is included in every package, and past that I quote a flat travel cost up front. For anything involving an airport, we talk. The passport is current.
Three lines is plenty: the date, the place, and what you are planning. If I am already booked, I will say so fast and send you two photographers I would trust with my own family.
Ask about your dateI reply to every inquiry personally within two business days, usually faster.
